SALISBURY will play in the Southern League Premier Division play-off final after the most dramatic of wins at Ray Mac.

The Whites were losing 1-0 to Gosport Borough as late as the 85th minute but completed a dramatic comeback with a 92nd minute penalty to win 2-1.

They will play the winners of Totton and Bracknell, which has gone to extra time.

Gosport dominated the game for large parts of it, and were in charge for much of the second half, after a goalless first period.

The game really came to life after the hour mark when Gosport really took control of the game.

A Gosport corner just before the 70th minute led to some football ping pong in the Salisbury area and a Borough appeal for a penalty from a suspected handball.

Then the Whites crossbar was rattled by a thumping effort from the Borough forward, and a scramble on the goal line. Gosport were adamant they have scored but it was not given.

They didn't have to wait long before they took the lead, and three minutes later Gosport did open the scoring from another.

Another goal mouth scramble lead to ANOTHER effort against the cross bar before Wassmer bundled the ball over the line in front of the delirious away fans.

It really didn't look like Salisbury would find a goal.

Out of nowhere - nowhere - they found an equaliser. In the 87th minute, Hedges picked it up on the left hand side, cut inside and fizzed a low shot into the bottom corner.

Then it was all Salisbury, and five minutes later, with just 90 seconds left on added time, Wassmer fouled Fitchett in the box and was given a red card for his troubles.

Coppin, the club's top scorer so far this season, stepped up and buried it in the bottom corner.

More to come.
