In the first match of the Hampshire Cross Country League in Aldershot, many of CoSARC’s squad were representing the club in their first competitive match.
They displayed confidence beyond their years from being part of a team. This is testament to the quality of the club coaching, and support of the parents enabling them to compete.
Most of those that raced fortunately missed the torrential downpour that occurred when the race was over. However, the senior women were not so lucky, as they were caught in a downpour during their race.
The men though, were not complaining, as the rains stopped for their race.

U15 Girls 4km Team position 5th Esme White 16:17, Olivia Barnett 16:25, Lilli Clements Champion 17:56, Eva Layton 19:06. U17 Boys 6km Team position 8th Charlie Coles 21:05, Thomas Holme 26:30, Joseph Holme 28:12. U17 Girls 4km Imogen Gray 14:49 (2nd). Men 10km Division 1 7th, Vets 8th Dan Poynting 34:15, Jaymee Domoney 36:24, Andy Holme 39:20, Andrew Ingleton 40:17, Richard Davidson 41:10, Matt Bosworth 41:46, Mark Wilde 42:20, Mark Glanville 44:04, Andy Dale 49:25, James Rodwell 49:27. Women 6km Katie Clements 28:37.
