WITH many of City of Salisbury's athletes resting, it was left to three runners to keep the club flag flying.
Long distance specialist Phil Smith added to his haul of more than 100 completed marathons when he crossed the line at Purbeck, after clocking up 26 miles between Corfe Castle and Swanage in a time of 3hrs 54 mins 27sec.
In the Hursley 10k, Mel Holloway recorded a time of 52.22 and in the Bath Two Tunnels race over the same distance, Ali Theobald recorded 55.19.
