SARUM Academy are making the 360-mile round trip to Truro School, Cornwall in the fourth round of the English Schools' FA Under-16 Small Schools' Cup.

Their place in the last 32 was secured with a dramatic penalty shootout win to send Chiltern Edge spinning out of the competition.

Liam Greenough forced spot kicks with his late leveller with a penalty, which rebounded off the keeper twice before tumbling over the line, as the tie ended 4-4 at the end of normal time.

Sarum held their nerve in the shootout to win 4-3.

Mark Pearce, acting curriculum team leader for PE, lauded the teenagers.

Ties need to be played before Saturday, January 9.
