FC SALISBURY United have gained entry into the National Futsal League after a extremely successful season on the pitch.
Joining the elite in the National League, United are now one of only 44 teams in the country to play at this level. Manager Justin Prentice told the journal: "We are extremely pleased with our successful application into the National League."
"It's great news for the city and county that we have a club playing at the highest level, this will give local footballers a chance to progress and experience playing against the best opposition in the country."
United travel to the Olympic Village on June 20 and 21 to play in the FA Futsal Cup finals and then begin preparation for their league debut in September. Not to be outdone by the men’s team, United’s under-10s have also reached the national finals for their age group.
