After the game manager Robbie Lakeman said: "It was really important for us to get the win today to give us a chance of the FA Cup next season and also to give us a good end to what has been an up and down season.

"The players worked really hard for it today and often you will see teams go into the last game of the season and not perform because they are ready for the summer break.

"That was definitely not the case for us today and I can't speak highly enough of all of them, they deserved the win and should be proud of there performances.

"Once again we have proved that we can more than live with the best sides in the league and hopefully we can progress again next season and be up there challenging.

"My aim in pre-season is to maintain the players we have and add to the quality of the squad to give us the very best chance of pushing on up the league again."
