TOM Morton smashed 63 off 33 balls and Dom Ducellier weighed in with a five-wicket haul as South Wilts thrashed Lymington by 106 runs under the Ageas Bowl floodlights to carry off the Southern Electric twenty20 Cup for the second year running.

Victorious South Wilts skipper Tom Morton said afterwards: “We're all very pleased to have won the competition again.

"It is a fantastic experience to play a floodlit match at the Ageas Bowl.

“I'm glad with the way we responded to the occasion.

Setting a fairly high total was a good start, but we knew we had to bowl well to restrict Lymington as they have a few individuals capable of chasing massive scores.

“With some early scoreboard pressure built by James Hayward and Jake Foley, Dom Ducellier was able to run through their top order, for the second year running in the cup final.”
