MISERABLE weather has had a negative impact on Steeple Langford’s season as they are struggling to get wins on the board.
In July, Langford’s first team endured three successive defeats against local rivals South Newton, South Wilts and Overton.
Not posting enough runs, as well as being outclassed by opposing in-form batsmen, has mainly hindered Langford.
Their lacklustre season has rubbed off on the second team, who have suffered similarly, losing to the likes of Hyde CC and East Christchurch.
Langford are running a summer camp for seven to 13-year-olds. Coaching starts on Monday, August 4 to Wednesday, August 6.
It costs £20 per day or £50 for all three days. Email liamburnell12@hotmail.com or andyfoyle@hotmail.com to book.
