SAM Dempster cracked his maiden century as Nomansland turned over depleted Great Durnford on Saturday in Regional Division 2 West.
Durnford arrived with only eight men and batted first.
Manns (26) and Shaun Wing (13) gave them a solid start, backed up by a breezy innings from J.Ambrose (28), along with further cameos from Glen Powell (20) and Jeremy Makin (18). But Durnford were all out for 141 in the 32nd over.
Darren Grayer picked up 5- 49 in a fine spell for the home side.
Durnford’s weakened team allowed Nomansland’s Dempster to take full advantage with some superb shots.
Fifty was added for the first wicket until Grayer perished for 11. Jason King was then bowled for nine, but from 65-2, Dempster went on the rampage with Carl Mason watching on from the other end.
The pair put on 82 in just eight overs, with Mason contributing just eight. Dempster completed his century and ended the innings with a six to finish on 108 not out.
Scores: Great Durnford 141 all out, Nomansland: 147- 2.
