PAUL Henderson's success with Irish imports continued at Newton Abbot on Sunday, writes David Briers.

One More Tune - last seen when second in a point-to-point seven weeks ago on the Emerald Isle - made a winning English debut for the Whitsbury trainer in the 2m6f maiden hurdle under Nick Scholfield.

Despite being badly hampered at the third last flight, the six-year-old Luso gelding shrugged off odds-on favourite Black Cow to score by six lengths.

Henderson - celebrating his sixth victory of the National Hunt season - said: “One More Tune won a point-to-point in Ireland before I bought him and will make a staying chaser but for the time being we will keep him to hurdles and run him under a penalty.”

The previous Sunday the trainer had struck at Stratford with Fair Dilemma who has won three races out of four since arriving from Ireland in the spring.
