SALISBURY Rugby Club are set to host a match in memory of Rory Walworth later this month.

Walworth, one of the club’s former players, died aged 19 in 2009 after a fatal cycling accident.

His mountain bike collided with a tractor close to the A36 with Walworth tragically declared dead at the scene.

Walworth’s former school Bishop’s Wordsworth and former rugby club Salisbury are set to compete in a match at Castle Road on Boxing Day.

Players from the team’s current squads and those dating all the way back to the 2005-06 season are set to be involved.

Salisbury’s first XV are due back in league action at Stow-on-the-Wold on Saturday.
