A free music festival is returning to Salisbury this summer.

Promising a fun day out for the whole family, Figgle Fest will be providing free music and entertainment in Figheldean.

Normally at the start of July, this year it is taking place on a slightly later date on Saturday, July 20.

The live music starts from 12 middy until 11pm, with an open mic running from 11am till 12.

Twelve acts will be performing including headline act Fleetwood Collective, a fantastic Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

The local farmer has given permission to use one of his fields for parking to ensure that there is no parking around the village. This frees up more space for camping which you can pre- book for £10 per tent and £15 per campervan.

There will be free children’s entertainment including bouncy castles, a dunk tank and games. Besides all this, there will be plenty of stalls, food vendors and a bar - so bring some cash.

Other acts featured in the lineup are The Dusk Hounds, The Zucchinis, HP and the Reggae Source, Southbound Lizzy, The Passenger Club and The Intercepteurs.

Donations are welcome on the day to keep the festival going for free.
