Performing hit songs of his career such as “Poison Arrow”, “The Look Of Love”, “Be Near Me”, “When Smokey Sings”, ABC lead vocalist Martin Fry will visit The Barn in Ringwood during his upcoming tour.

The tour of ABC – An Intimate Evening With Martin Fry, follows a sold-out tour across the UK, and is described as Martin’s “most intimate nationwide tour yet”. In addition to song performances, he will also share his personal stories of more than four decades in the music industry.

Formed in Sheffield in 1980, ABC gained transatlantic success with its debut album The Lexicon of Love.

The tour coincides with the publication of Martin’s autobiography – That’s the look, that’s the look… The Look of Love.

Martin said: “I have been very lucky in my career to have played venues around the world, from massive arenas in the States to Sheffield Town Hall in my hometown, where we marked 40 years of The Lexicon of Love. However, this tour really is something a bit different; an opportunity for stripped-back music and conversation with my fans. It will be really special, I can’t wait.”

The tour begins in October 2024 and will arrive at The Barn on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Tickets will be available via The Barn’s website.
