ELECTRIC car-charging points are to be installed in three city council-owned car parks.
The new installations - coming to Lush House, Victoria Park and Churchill Gardens - are part of a joint scheme between Salisbury City Council and Crawley-based electric vehicle charging company EVC to feature new charging stations in city council-owned car parks.

The new machines will include rapid and fast charging bays, using EVC’s renewable energy network.
Councillor John Wells, one of the leaders of the city council, said: "I am delighted that there will soon be multiple charging bays in the city council-owned car parks which supports our commitment to making Salisbury greener. We hope that this will encourage more people to travel electric in our city to help reduce harmful vehicle emissions and improve air quality.”
Current charging locations available in Salisbury include multiple stations operated by Wiltshire Council, including those at Brown Street Car Park, Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre, Bourne Hill Car Park, Petersfinger Park and Ride and London Road Park and Ride.
