Salisbury Museum is making use of its collection of more than 5,000 artworks in its ongoing exhibition The Art of Wessex.
The exhibition opened on Saturday, November 11 and will run until Sunday, January 28, featuring works of art created by artists from across Wessex from the 18th century to the present day.
The works on display include those by well-known historical names such as J.M.W. Turner, Rex Whistler, Cecil Beaton and modern wood engraver Howard Phipps.
The exhibition is available to view for standard admission, which is currently being offered at a 50% discount as the museum continues its redevelopment works, bringing adult admission down from £9 to £4.50, or £5 as a tax-deductible donation admission.
Children’s admission has been reduced from £4.50 to £2.25, or £2.50 with a donation admission, and family admission (two adults and up to four children) has been reduced from £22.50 to £11.25, or £12.50 as a donation admission.
Admission for children under the age of five remains free.
