A THEATRE in Ringwood is encouraging people to come and try out new activities and learning opportunities to see them through the winter months.

The Forest Forge Theatre Company specialises in supporting emerging artists, providing professional performances and delivering creative learning projects with the aim of engaging and transforming through the power of theatre.

“Whatever your theatre path – whether it is to become an actor, a designer a stage manager, a director, or writer, or whether theatre is a hobby that makes your heart sing, we work hard to ensure that we will give you the best opportunities.”

The company remains focused on ensemble theatre with everyone understanding the role they play within the creation of theatre. Everyone is valued, respected, and encouraged to be themselves and to know that everyone has their back.

Participation sessions include Saturday Morning Drama clubs for children aged 7-12, and Youth theatre is available for those aged from 12 years to 18 years.

Creative artists aged 18-25 can come along to The Young Company. Then there's the Act Your Age event for those over the age of 55 and Branching Out is the newest addition to the theatre and is for adults aged over 18 with a learning disability.
