THE FAMOUS Flying Scotsman made a return journey to Salisbury today (Saturday).
The Flying Scotsman made history in 1934 when it became the first to reach 100mph, is back on Britain’s railways after a decade-long restoration project costing £4.2 million thanks to the National Railway Museum.
This is the train as it passed through Wilton.
Huge crowds gathered at Salisbury train station last weekend to see the famous train as it toured the south coast.
Tickets for this latest trip had sold out.
