A SELECTION of mouth-watering treats helped to raise more than £2,000 for Help for Heroes.
The Help for Heroes Bake for Heroes sale in Salisbury took place on Saturday with volunteers manning stalls in Market Square and the Old George Mall.
Bake for Heroes campaign manager Claire McHenry said: “I would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped on the day, people who kindly baked goodies for us to sell, all the local businesses who also supplied cakes and of course the wonderful people who came along to support the Salisbury Bake for Heroes event.
“The event raised an incredible £2341.45 and there is still plenty of time for anyone else who like to hold their own Bake for Heroes event to get involved."
The sale in Salisbury also marked the launch of the Bake for Heroes campaign, which runs until May 4.
