VOLUNTEERS at the Salisbury Child Contact Centre celebrated the centre’s fifth anniversary at the weekend.
The centre acts as a neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents, and sometimes other family members.
Centre coordinator Liz Sirman said: “The centre is run at the St Osmund's Pre-School which allows us to use their nursery for a very small charge.
“We have ten volunteers who help organise the centre and we support dads, mums and grandparents when life is extremely difficult for them and their young children.”
Salisbury MP John Glen attended the party, which was held at St Elizabeth Hall in Exeter Street on Saturday.
