A NEWSAGENTS has closed for a refurbishment and its owners said fresh food will be "at the heart" of it.
Boxes have piled up outside Martin's, at 34 Blue Boar Row, while the shop's interior is refurbished.
The convenience store has been closed since Tuesday, February 20, and the work is expected to last until Friday, March 1.
A new Morrisons Daily shop sign is also being installed to accompany the shop's new look.
Morrisons said fresh food will be "at the heart of the store" when it reopens.
A spokesperson for Morrisons, which owns the shop, said: "The new Morrisons Daily fresh food convenience store in Salisbury is due to open in early March and will offer customers a careful tailored mix of Morrisons own brand products alongside branded favourites. Fresh food is at the heart of the store and we hope customers will love it."
Once the refurbishment is complete, Martin's opens from 6am until 5pm every day except Sunday when its hours are reduced to 7am until 1pm.
