FIFTEEN new jobs have been created in Salisbury as a wealth planning firm opened an office in the city yesterday.
Succession Group set up shop in Milford House, on Milford Street, from where its advisers and directors will serve clients and businesses across the south.
Salisbury MP John Glen was due to formally open the "servicing hub" yesterday.
He said said: “Salisbury is a great place to live and work. I am delighted that a successful and growing business like Succession Group has chosen Salisbury for its South of England client servicing hub.
“Succession’s choice of Salisbury reflects the high level of skill and professionalism which employers are confident that they will find amongst the local workforce and bring more employment opportunities to our city.”
Group chief executive Simon Chamberlain told IFA magazine: “Succession Group has brought together leading financial services professionals into a single centre of excellence at Milford House. Together, they provide a comprehensive wealth planning service for private and corporate clients, delivering rich and rewarding experiences and financial peace of mind.
“The Salisbury-based team will focus on developing strong personal relationships with clients, and we will be recruiting for more qualified wealth planners, paraplanners and support staff to meet the needs of our valued clients as we continue to grow our business. This is the start of a very exciting journey in Salisbury.”
