FAWCETTS Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors is continuing its support for the Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival.

The Salisbury-based business is sponsoring the festival's family programme.

Fawcetts partner Richard Allen said: “In this, our ninth succesive year of support, for the wonderful Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival we have again chosen the Family Programme. It is an obvious choice for us because our client base is very much concentrated on family businesses the majority of which have parents or grandparents or aunts and uncles with children of all ages to enjoy the broad spectrum of entertainment encompassed by the Festival’s family programme.

"Today’s children are tomorrows performers and Salisbury is fortunate to have such a hugely successful arts festival giving so many opportunities for our young people to be royally entertained.”

The festival takes place from May 27 to June 11.

Festival director Toby Smith added: “We are clearly delighted to be working again with the team at Fawcetts who are continuing their major support of the family programme. The Festival’s family programme reaches thousands of people and this year’s events once again include free street theatre, the Family Playday, live action theatre, puppetry, storytelling and even a sensory experience for the very young. As in previous years, the Festival’s programme of family events offers lots of inspiration and fun for families and younger audiences and great profile for Fawcetts.”

The festival’s family programme of events includes a production of Danny the Champion of the World by Illyria in the Wardrobe Museum Gardens and Chotto Desh from the celebrated Akram Khan Company, the semi-autobiographical story of a young man who dreams of becoming a dancer.
